Mid-Level Landscape Architect / Project Manager

MPG Group, a full-service professional design firm in landscape architecture, urban design, and land planning, is seeking a talented, motivated, and design-oriented professional with a minimum 4 years of experience to work from either our Shanghai, China headquarters or our newly opened office located in Newport Beach, California, USA. First established in 2007, the firm currently has over 120 employees in four offices.
The ideal candidate for this advanced position will possess both an academic and an advanced degree in Landscape Architecture, plus prior experience working in a professional office environment. Having a professional license is preferred but not required. However, being bilingual (both verbal and written) in Mandarin and English is mandatory to be successful in this challenging position, as you will be closely collaborating and coordinating with the firm's Design Principals and clients across the China and USA markets. Candidate must possess an accomplished skill set that includes the ability to draw and sketch by hand, proficiency in an array digital design software , and the aptitude to successfully manage themselves, projects, work products, and a design team staff.
Candidate will be preparing, overseeing, managing, and/or presenting project deliverables of 3d models, renderings, presentation graphics, and construction-level technical documents. As an experienced and effective design professional, you must have strong personnel communication skills, have a keen eye for design (from concept through construction), an artistic flair, and the ability to effectively lead and collaborate with clients, allied consultants, and a design team.
